Yes — changes are welcome any time. On an upgrade you only pay the pro-rata difference from today until 31 December, and you don't pay the joining fee again. On a downgrade we credit the unused portion of your current tier to your next season. Request a package change from the Memberships drawer in the Member Portal or drop the committee a message.

Card payments via Yoco (Visa, Mastercard, Instant EFT). Annual memberships pay up-front; monthly plans use recurring billing via Peach Payments. You can also top up your on-court lighting balance from the same checkout. We do not accept cash at the clubhouse for membership fees.

New full-paying adult members pay a once-off joining fee (listed on the tier card). Student, Junior, Social and Basic memberships have no joining fee. Upgrades between packages never trigger a new joining fee — you only pay it the first time you become a paid member.

Memberships can be paused for up to 3 months per year with committee approval — useful when you're travelling, injured, or studying away. While frozen, recurring billing pauses and your profile stays active. Email the committee to request a freeze; we usually respond within 48 hours.

Every full member may bring guests at R15 per 30 minutes of play. Guests must be accompanied by the hosting member and paid for online before play. Max 3 guests per member per booking. First-time visitors get one complimentary guest session — reach out to the committee to set it up.

Every tier has its own reservation span (how far in advance you can book) and active-reservation cap (how many hours can be on hold at once). Full members get a 14-day window; Social members 7 days. Cancellations must be made within the tier's cancellation window — after that the slot is locked and the court fee applies even if you don't show. The full live grid is on the Book a Court page.

No — court lighting is prepaid separately to keep the membership fee fair for daylight-only players. Members pay R15 per 30 minutes of active lighting, deducted from a prepaid balance you top up from the Member Portal. Coaching students play under lights at no extra cost during their booked lesson.

For Junior or Student memberships we collect each child's first name, surname, date of birth, any medical conditions, and allergies — entered during checkout. We don't require a separate email for each child; the account ties to yours so you manage everything from one login. Committee-approved juniors get their own Player Directory profile, badges, and event sign-ups.

A small refundable deposit applies to monthly-billed memberships only (annual payers skip it). The deposit is refunded after 3 months of uninterrupted play, directly back to your e-Wallet so you can use it for lighting top-ups, guest fees, or event entries. If you cancel early the deposit is forfeited.

Yes — active committee members receive a Committee Membership with full booking rights at no charge, renewed annually. Affiliated coaches sign up with a dedicated Coach Membership that bypasses the prepaid lighting gate during scheduled lessons. Both tiers are invite-only; email the committee if you'd like to be considered.
